Whew! Baer Field Toastmasters has had a busy fall and early winter! November 15, 2011, we installed our new Toastmaster's logo flag. After having the same logo for seventy years, they have updated it to reflect our international outreach. Our Division Governor, Robert Norris, was on hand to help us dedicate our new flag. In this busy time of year, over 500 Waynedalers and visitors to the area relaxed and took time to celebrate the holiday season at "A Christmas In Waynedale." The community event was held on December 10th, from 4-7p on the corner of Bluffton and Lower Huntington Roads.

It may not seem unusual that St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School first graders and their families have been busy baking cookies at this time of year. What is unusual is that these first graders and their families bake, bag and sell their annual "Cookies for Christ" to the St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School community and donate all the money they make to the Sunshine Club. Many reasons exist why a person should love and embrace the Christmas season. I hear of those who attack the Christmas season and I take no notice to them at all. The thing that keeps buffoons energized his attention paid to them. If they were really serious about their so-called beliefs, they would leave the country during the Christmas season and go somewhere where it is not celebrated.
