Seven year-old Eli Neimeyer picked up some tips from one of the IPFW baseball players during the Eric Wedge Baseball Clinic on Saturday, February 3 at the ASH Centre.Seven year-old Eli Neimeyer picked up some tips from one of the IPFW baseball players during the Eric Wedge Baseball Clinic on Saturday, February 3 at the ASH Centre. Wedge, a Northrop grad was giving back to the community for his 7th year. He managed the Seattle Mariners last year and for 7 seasons led the Cleveland Indians. During the morning session, Jim Shovlin did his live broadcast, Talkin' Sports, which included IPFW Pitching Coach Grant Birely and University of St. Francis Coach Greg Roberts. The one-day camp, for over 400 area athletes, included a skills camp for grades K-5, hitting camp for grades 6-9, and college exposure camp grades 10-12.
