ELEANOR I. GLANT, 87, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born on June 4, 1924 in Fort Wayne to the late Albert and Hulda Strahm.

She retired from Fort Wayne Orthopedics as a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member at Waynedale United Methodist Church.

Surviving family include her children, Kathleen (Thomas) Warriner of Plainfield, Indiana, Sandra (Ronald) Williams of Fraser, Colorado, David (Sharon) Glant and Sally Thomas, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Margaret Miller of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald D. Glant.

Funeral service were 10:00 am on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation was from 4-8 pm on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
