Esther E. Watson, 81, died Friday, December 14 at Lutheran Hospital. A native of Van Wert, Ohio, she was a homemaker and was employed with General Electric before WWII for 5 years. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Partisian Chapter of the Elex Club and a Korean War and WWII Army WAC veteran. “She enjoyed crafts.”
She is survived by husband Richard E. Watson, Waynedale; son Ronald Lee Watson, Port Charolette, Florida; daughter Alice Rose Higgins, Huntertown; brothers Raymond Croghan, Kentucky; Dale Croghan, Orland; sisters Ruth Camp, Pomona, California; Bertha Burris, Las Vegas, Nevada; Sue Bryant, Sun City, California; Alice Morris, San Diego, California; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, December 18 at Calvary United Methodist Church in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in New Haven, Indiana. Memorials to Calvary Untied Methodist Church.
