Romald D. Winn, 68, died Saturday, February 16 at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana. A native of Fort Wayne, he retired from GTE wireless in 1998 and worked part time in the office of Rich’s Auto Center here in Waynedale. He served with the U S Army in Korea and was a member of American Legion Post 241. He was a member and Elder of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. He enjoyed life and loved cars and woodworking. He was preceded in death by a sister Maraquita.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie (Stapleton) Winn, sons Ronnie and David all of Fort Wayne and a daughter Kristy of Lafayette, Indiana; brother H. Stanley Winn; and 4 grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, February 19 at Mt. Calvary Church with burial in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery on Engle Road. Memorials to the church and the Hospice Home.
