When you walk through the front door of “Grandma’s Back Porch,” 6811 Old Trail Road (next to Ridenour Twin Service), it is like walking back in time. The century-old house is very cozy and inviting with its country furnishings. Handcrafted wood furniture fills the three rooms on the main floor along with pictures, pillows, clocks, candles, books, dinnerware, birdhouses and other country treasures.
The country theme is carried out up the wide staircase to the second floor. Upstairs you will find a bedroom of quilts and stuffed animals along with a special year-round Christmas room. The spacious bathroom is a garden of pictures with a white picket fence.
Easter isn’t the only time to give baskets. Remember “Grandma” arranges them for all holidays and occasions. By choosing special gift items, you can create a very personalized and unique gift or you can pick from the theme baskets already arranged. They make great gifts for the person who has everything. They also have a gift registry and gift certificates available.
Grandma says, “Please, come in, visit and spend some time browsing”.
