S.A.L. Jack Shepard, Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 44 and Mary Shepard, leader for Girl Scout Troop 850 were presented with the checks by Walt Pressler, S.A.L. Chaplain. Barry Confer, Financial Officer for S.A.L. said, “That’s what it’s all about, helping each other.” Jack Shepard said, “This money will help our Scouts go to summer camp.” Mary Shepard said, “It will help my girls pay for some of their summertime projects.” Leaders of both troops expressed their gratitude for the money by sending S.A.L.
