Bishop Luers High School, host of the oldest annual show choir competition in the nation, will welcome show choirs from 17 high schools to its 30th annual competition on March 6, 2004. Some of the most talented high school singers and dancers in the region will provide spectacular entertainment throughout the day and night. Day competition begins at 8:00am and runs until 6:00pm; the evening competition begins at 7:30pm. Tickets are good at the door, $10.00 for adults, $7.00 for children 12 and under. Bishop Luers High School will hold its annual mini-wrestling camp for grades 1-4, March 1st through March 11th, from 6-7:30pm at Bishop Luers. Camp runs Monday through Thursday. Cost is $10.00. The Wayne High School Baseball Team is currently looking for potential sponsors for their 2004 Baseball Sport Program.
The purpose of this program is to raise money to construct a batting cage, purchase field tarps, safety capping for the outfield fence, and other equipment and supplies that are needed for the safety of our players and the betterment of the field and surroundings.
