Above-St. Therese students get a visit from Curious George. Under the direction of Physical Educational teacher, Mrs. Luegring, St. Therese Catholic School in Waynedale celebrated Catholic Schools Week with their annual “Winter Field Day” with sled races and other winter games. Students were given treats at the end of the event courtesy of HASA. In honor of their Catholic faith, students from St. Therese Catholic School in Waynedale participated in a Living Rosary on Wednesday afternoon organized by the middle school religion teacher, Mrs. Lortie.Open registration for the new Preschool will be in March!

Starting the weekend after Thanksgiving of 2007, school and parish families built two new classrooms and storage areas in record time. New electrical work was put in to meet all state fire codes. Each new classroom has a large closet for storage and will be networked for school-wide communication and Internet accessibility.

At the Open House held at the beginning of Catholic Schools Week, Father Dave blessed the new classrooms on Sunday, January 27th. Many former students and parishioners stopped in and were in awe of the new look.

St. Therese will offer a Pre-Kindergarten Program (4 and 5 years old by September 1st) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8:00am to 3:00p.m. with lunch at 11 am.

The Pre-school Program (3 years old by September 1st) will have 2 sessions. The first session will be on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 to 11:00 am. The second session will be Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:00-3:00 pm.
