PHYLLIS LEE PONTIUS, 84, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 at Coventry Meadows. She was born September 23, 1927 in Hartford City, Indiana to the late Thomas and Hilda (Weikel) Pontius. Mrs. Pontius worked as a bookkeeper and secretary at numerous auto dealerships.
Surviving are her daughter, Belinda Baker of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Nikolaos B. Baker, Sr. and Angelia Baker, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Betty Woodard of Evansville; 4 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Graveside services were held on Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 3 to 6 P.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
