Devon Stone, a talented Wayne General HS athlete, is starting to popup on collegiate radars. Devon not only plays football but also is running and jumping past his competition in a multitude of track and field events.
Devon has trained very hard throughout the past year with his coaches and with the support of his family, especially his grandmother. Devon’s results have been quite impressive. He has competed and done well in many events and has earned “All SAC” in the 110 high hurdles this year.
Navy, Illinois, Rutgers and Carthage are currently some of the schools recruiting Devon for track. A few of these schools have even looked at Devon on the football field. The sky is the limit for young Devon. As he finishes his junior year, it will be quite exciting to see his future performances on the track and football field as he continues his athletic success.
