GENE D. PERL, 82, of Yoder, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 12, 1934 in Fort Wayne to the late Ollie and Winefred Perl. He worked in hydraulic equipment fabrication, retiring in 1999 from Neff Engineering.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved riding motorcycles and driving classic sports cars.
Surviving are his wife, Geneva Perl of Yoder; children, Brian Perl of Tracy, California, Debra Vaughn of Huntington, and Pamela Holley of Fayette, Ohio; brothers, Glenn (Gail) Perl of Fort Wayne and Gary (Ori) Perl of Van Wert, OH; four grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral was Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
